Traditional festivals

Lepe is a village which is celebrated for its celebrating many festivals. A community that has a strong anchorage in festivals, one most important fair is the Agrocosta , a fair that gathers all the sectors of the agriculture industry. There is also the Semana Santa which is a huge festival of Lepe , among others.

La Romeria de la Virgen de la Bella
The town celebrates the Romeria in honor of the "Santísima Virgen de la Bella ", who is patron of Lepe. It is said to be the most popular holiday and it is celebrated during the second Sunday of May in an enclosure. This spot solely exists for such celebration at the end in the Lump which is much next to the fishing port.
Semana Santa
During the Holy week, there is a different Lepe procession each day to commemorate the passion and death of Jesus. The Holy Week starts with Palm Sunday where the children accompany images and carry branches of olive trees or palm trees.

Agrocosta
In Lepe , the end of September is the Agricultural Trade fair, AGROCOSTA , which gathers the agriculture onubense / huelveño. In the recent years it has become one of the avenues for economic deals and the event is able to generate sales that amount to more than 100 million pesetas. Other than the exhibition of technical agricultural days, there is also delivery of awards which are given to the best agricultural innovations.
